01

Build function into the route

Backlit sections improve contrast for cameras and inspectors. Pacing conveyors use controlled speed differences to create or close gaps. Vacuum beds pull air through perforated belts to stabilise light products. Metal-free zones allow a detector to inspect product without false signals from the supporting bed.

02

Match construction to the environment

Sanitary conveyors use accessible, cleanable frames with fewer catch points in the food zone. Miniature conveyors use low profiles and small transfers inside compact machinery. Diverters, gates, pushers, encoders and servo-driven sections add routing and position control where the process needs them.

03

The belt remains fundamental

Select belting around product size and weight, speed, environment, orientation, turns and slopes. Tracking is affected by the splice, rollers, tension, side loading and debris. A V-guide can help constrain lateral movement, while a removable clipper joint may help access at the cost of a raised splice.
