02 Overview

3200 Heavy Duty Conveyors.

The 3200 is specified where load, speed or run length rule out a lighter frame. It handles parts handling, transfers, accumulation, precision movement, incline and decline routing on Z-frames, positioning, assembly and mainline packaging.

Four belt formats share the same frame family, so the configuration can change without changing platform.

03 Configurations

Choose by movement and application.

Specifications below are tied to each configuration and should not be applied to the whole platform.

01

Belted

Fabric belt

Heavy-duty, low-maintenance fabric belt in flat, cleated, sidewall-cleated and rib-top styles, with flat belt end drive, cleated belt end drive, centre drive and iDrive models.

Widths
Up to 1,219 mm
Lengths

Load

Speed
Up to 182 m/min
02

Modular

Plastic modular belt

An open modular belt for airflow, drainage and cleated carrying, where a fabric belt would not release product or drain.

Precision move

Indexed movement

A positive-drive belt for indexing and positioning, where the product has to arrive in a known place rather than simply arrive.

Widths
51–610 mm
Speed
Up to 46 m/min

04

ARB

Activated roller belt

Rollers set into the belt move product across or along it, so the belt can divert, align or transfer without a separate mechanism.

04 Why this platform

What it is good at.

01

V-guided tracking

Positive belt tracking under demanding side-load applications, which is what side transfers impose on a belt.

02

Quick belt changes

Modular belts and spliced standard belts change quickly, so a belt change is not a shift.

03

Rack and pinion tensioning

Precise belt tensioning rather than adjustment by feel.

04

Sealed for life bearings

No bearing lubrication schedule to maintain.

Published maximums depend on the selected model, drive, belt and layout. Confirm the final engineered configuration before purchase.

Maximum load varies by model and drive: published figures across the configuration sub-pages include 455 kg, 340 kg, 227 kg, 181 kg and 45 kg. The source also carried a length line reading "30 in. (1,219 mm)", where the metric value is the 48 in width figure; the self-consistent minimum of 3 ft (914 mm) is used here. Confirm the figure for your engineered configuration before ordering.
